What are we thankful for?

During the end of year party, we asked the Axium team what they were grateful for at the end of 2015. Here are a few of highlights…

Craig: “EGRA successes, and working with such an awesome team.” Mich: “The end of Craig’s PhD! More financial stability, and the birth of our Luke.”
Phelisa: “Working with kids, I gained a lot of experience. Falling more in love with kids!”
Asavela: “Learning new skills and learning to be a leader. Learning how to teach and interact with kids”. Nkosiphendule: “Growing in storytelling.”
Sibusiso: “Working with kids who have such passion and desire to learn. Also working with such a great team and especially learning from Craig.”
Emma: “Being in such a supportive community.”
Danielle: “Being in Zithulele and experiencing such amazing community.” Nathalie: “Working with and learning from inspiring, creative children.”

Nandipha: “Learning to manage kids in schools in groups and learning to tell good stories.”
Mashiya: “Adding new students from Mhlahlane and getting good feedback from Seaview that their students are improving”
Grateful to have learned from some of the finest leaders I’ve ever come across. So thankful to have known and worked with these passionate, humble, dynamic people.
Siphelele: “Learning so many new skills through the Jump Start programme.”
Learning about trust and how important it is to your work environment. I am thankful for how much I have learned from the Axium team about how to trust in the workplace and then to take that into schools.
